Alice Poole won the 2018 British Design and Manufacturing Award for her own kitchen where she used a sunray theme for the units. Alice Poole designs kitchens for many of her projects and, using joinery firms, is able to completely customise the units to fit the space without any restrictions on unit size. Alice Poole also uses Magnet kitchens for some projects and customises them to give individuality. Although kitchen design tends to follow fashion, with kitchens being able to be dated from their appearance, Alice prefers to design kitchens that are unique and therefore stand the test of time.
